Ironman Mode - The Differences

Below is a table consisting of differences from “Regular” and “Ironman” playstyles. This list will continually be reviewed, but should serve as a adequate reference to know what you’re diving into with Ironman style play, and if it’s right for you!

Contracting - Providing

Contracts have a start fee of $500 or 10%, whichever is greater (Up from $250 or 5%).

Contracting - Taking

Contracts taken have 30% fees (10 retirement/10 homestead/10 tax) (Compared to 15% for regular).

Credit

Credit score accrues at 1/2 the speed as a normal farm, with double the penalty for missed payments.

Equipment - Repairs

Filters wear out 30-50% quicker.

Homestead - Taxes

Homestead is taxed at double the rates of regular player homesteads.

Exports

Subject to 10% tariff (Up from 5% regular)

Land Tokens - Purchasing

Land tokens starting price is $70,000 / token

Regular starting price is $40,000 / token

Land Tokens - Returning

When returning tokens, you only receive 10% of the token value back from getting rid of land. This is down from 25% received back for regular farms.

Loans - Quantity

Ironman can only have 1 active general loan and 3 asset loans. This is compared to 2 active general and 5 asset loans for regular players.

Loans - Rates

Ironman cannot receive loans at less than 2x the current prime rate for their credit bracket.

Loans - Value

Player banks may only lend up to 1/2 of the value they could to a regular player. (10% at 600 Credit versus 20% at 600 credit for regular.)

Random Events

Random events occur 2x as much, and have a 25% higher chance of being negative compared to regular servers/homesteads.

Taxes - Property

7% ($1,700 / acre). (Up From 3-5% for regular)

Taxes - Assets

2% (Up from .5-1% for regular)

Taxes Homestead Allotment

Homestead Tax is 20% in addition to normal yearly taxes. This is double the regular rate of 10%.

Taxes - Retirement

Retirement Tax is 10% in addition to normal yearly taxes. This is double the regular rate of 5%.

Workers

Farmhands For Repairs: $250/day, compared to $125 for regular.

Workers - Homestead

Workers cost 2x as much in all professions daily.
