Archaeology Modules
The following is a list of modules that are available for installation onto a salvage (archaeology) ship. These modules must be produced by a player, then installed at a player shipyard.
Module | Details | Notes |
---|---|---|
Armory
| The armory is used to be able house up to 5 PMC Operators aboard your ship. PMC operators can be from your own PMC company or contracted from another players PMC. Having PMC operators aboard will help lessen the risk of sea-piracy and if piracy is attempted, will be utilized to defend you and your valuable ship and it’s contents! |
|
Cargo Stowage
| Cargo storage is a necessity everywhere, but especially at sea. This module adds 100 slots of Cargo storage aboard your ship to store supplies and artifacts. |
|
Salvage Crane Upgrade
| The Salvage crane module is used to amplify the lift capacity of the crane aboard your ship. Any ship using this module will have it’s cargo lift capacity increased by 50%. |
|
Ship Aviation Fuel Storage
| The aviation fuel storage module allows your ship to store up to 25,000 liters of aviation fuel for use with helicopter operations. |
|
Ship Helicopter Pad/Bay
| The helicopter pad/bay helps you to amplify your primary search operations by being able to launch helicopters. This in conjunction with sonobuoys and sonar computers can help you pinpoint the proper primary grid sooner. |
|
Sonar Computer - Basic
| The sonar computer is used to analyze data from sonobuoys and towed sonar arrays. This model is capable of detecting sonobuoy output up to 50nm away, and can analyze towed sonar array data in 6 hours. If a result is found, this model can detect the depth of the find. |
|
Sonar Computer - Advanced
| The sonar computer is used to analyze data from sonobuoys and towed sonar arrways. This model is capable of detecting sonobuoy output from up to 100nm away, and can analyze towed sonar array data in 3 hours. If a result is found, this model can detect the depth and estimated mass of the find. |
|
Towed Sonar Line - Double
| The towed sonar array is used to pinpoint a wreck within the grid that the ship resides in. Even if your primary search has detected a “Hit” for something in your current grid with a sonobuoy, you will need to use the towed array to narrow the location to be pinpoint. Getting a pinpoint location takes 48-72 hours using this equipment in a grid known to have an anomaly. |
|
Towed Sonar Line - Triple
| The towed sonar array is used to pinpoint a wreck within the grid that the ship resides in. Even if your primary search has detected a “Hit” for something in your current grid with a sonobuoy, you will need to use the towed array to narrow the location to be pinpoint. Getting a pinpoint location takes 8-24 hours using this equipment in a grid known to have an anomaly. |
|
Underwater Drone - Basic
| The underwater drone is used after a salvage anomaly has been pinpointed. It is used to determine the exact nature of the salvage and perform some operations in regards to it. |
|
Underwater Drone - Upgraded
| The underwater drone is used after a salvage anomaly has been pinpointed. It is used to determine the exact nature of the salvage and perform some operations in regards to it. |
|
Underwater Drone - Advanced
| The underwater drone is used after a salvage anomaly has been pinpointed. It is used to determine the exact nature of the salvage and perform some operations in regards to it. |
