Research timelines depend on the type of research. Below you’ll find the two types, and how timelines work for how long research takes.

Note: The maximum number of researchers, with largest facility, is 50 on a single project. Only 1 facility can handle a project at a time, and the largest facility has a capacity of 50 researchers.

Industry Specific/Specialized

  • Tier 1: (7 days x Level) / Researchers

  • Tier 2: (10 days x Level) / Researchers

  • Tier 3: (14 days x Level) / Researchers

  • Tier 4: (21 days x Level) / Researchers

  • Tier 5: (30 days x Level) / Researchers

  • Tier 6: (40 days x Level) / Researchers

  • Tier 7: (50 days x Level) / Researchers

  • Tier 8: (60 days x Level) / Researchers

  • Tier 9: (80 days x Level) / Researchers

  • Tier 10: (100 days x Level) / Researchers

Blueprint Research

  • The formula for blueprint research is
    (((MSRP * .001) / 24) / Researchers)

 

This means that a blueprint that manufactures an item with an NPC sale value of $1,000,000.00 would be: ($1m * .001) / 24.

1 Researcher = 41.6 Days
10 Researchers = 4.16 Days
50 Researchers = 0.83 Days
