Costs

Factories are purchased from the Global Market > Building Kits area. Their prices can range from a couple hundred thousand up to literally billions. All factories require inputs to make outputs. Some factories are specialized and are used to make specialty items that generic factories cannot. All factories require power on a regular basis to operate that must be supplied by your own company, or purchased from another company in the city the factory is in.

Construction

All factories are constructed on industrial land. The acreage required is visible on the Global Market purchasing page as shown above. Here, you also see the required construction level. You can opt to hire NPC builders, who will start work immediately (but take longer and cost more than a player), or you can seek out a player to do the building for you via the agreements system. Once construction has started, it’s just a waiting game.
