Dispatching

Dispatching

Dispatching is a system used by several industries including Logistics, Construction and Resource Acquisition. Dispatching is done by having a Dispatch Building, and appropriate staff. Below you will see the types of Dispatch Building workers, and their purpose.

  • Dispatch Buildings hold 5-150 dispatch workers, so be sure to choose the building that fits your operational needs when building or buying one.

Dispatchers

Dispatchers are used to handle operational movement for several company types. They are a requirement to be able to use the ‘Dispatch Interface’, which allows bulk movement of equipment into and out of various locations. Dispatchers function on a country level, and handle all dispatching operations for a particular company in a particular country.

Operations Managers

Operations managers are used to handle maintenance operations regarding various company types. They are a requirement to be able to use the ‘Operations Interface’ which allows bulk ordering of various maintenance policies for semi and construction/mining vehicles.

Load Liaisons

Load Liaisons are used to help generate loads for your sealane shipping industry. They are assigned to a specific port, and can be used to generate loads for any other port you have a Load Liaison in. Currently, they are able to generate 3 jobs based on the ship you have selected when requesting loads. Once those 3 jobs are taken, you are able to request more. You may also decline jobs after they have been available for 24 hours to prepare to regen new loads.

Dock Managers

Dock managers are used to help finish filling ships for your sealane industry. They will help add on ‘adhoc’ shipping to your existing onboard loads. They will be attached to your existing loads and will pay substantially less than if you were manually loading, but can be a good way to fill out a mostly loaded ship with some atleast moderately beneficial adhoc payments. You need one dock manager per port, per company.
