Combat - Turn Cycles

Each combat instance runs in turn cycles. Turn cycles are chosen by the players and can be in increments of 5, 10 or 30 seconds. The amount of time you should choose will likely depend on your situation. Combat cycles do not begin until atleast 1 vessel (Friend or Foe) is within firing range of a weapons platform.

 

In general, each cycle that the system processes happens in the same approximate order, as listed below from approximately first, to last.

 

  • Offensive weaponry (Non-Interceptables) lasers, railguns, projectiles.

  • Offensive weaponry (Interceptables) like missiles.

  • Fighters/Bombers & Squadrons

  • Drones

  • Damage Control

  • Shield Regeneration

  • Module Disabling/Destruction

  • Movement & Ranges

  • Boarding Actions
